Description

This tiny teapot prototype has been developed from my Interchangeable Mould project, which explores a creative approach to mould-made ceramics by using different combinations of a limited number of shapes and forms to create a variety of different final pieces.

The tiny teapot has been designed to fill either 1 medium Emma Johnson Ceramics cup or 2 EJC small cups. It can either be used with teabags, or comes with an optional tea strainer (+£5) for use with loose leaf tea. There are 4 teapots available, and they are being sold for a discounted price as I have not yet perfected the design. The hole for the strainer needs to be reduced in size (the strainer won't fall into the cup, it just moves around a little bit), and the pot is too tall for the spout, so it cannot be filled all the way to the top with water. Please bear this in mind before filling, as water will come out of the spout if it is filled too high!

Available in white, dusty pink or dark grey.

As with all handmade items please note that small variations and imperfections may be present and colours may vary slightly. This listing is for one teapot and lid only, with an option to add a Price and Kensington 2 cup stainless steel teapot strainer for £5 extra.

Dishwasher safe, hand wash recommended.

Materials: Stained porcelain with transparent glaze. Unglazed base. Stainless steel teapot strainer.
